Custom 3D Printing Solutions for Every Project
Whatever stage you’re at, whether an idea, a broken part or a production run, there’s a proven route from problem to finished part.
Rapid Prototyping
Need a working prototype before Friday’s design review? Test form, fit and function in days, not weeks.
Product Design & Development
Have an idea but no engineering team to develop it? From napkin sketch to production-ready CAD.
Obsolete & Replacement Parts
A broken part the manufacturer no longer makes? Remake discontinued parts from a broken original.
Low Volume Manufacturing
Need 200 parts but can’t justify injection-mould tooling? 10 to 5,000 parts with no tooling investment.
Inspection & Quality Verification
Unsure if supplier parts match the drawing? Scan-to-CAD deviation reports you can sign off.
Digital Archiving
Irreplaceable objects with no digital record? Preserve objects as accurate, reusable 3D data.

3D Printing FAQs
Straight answers to the questions we hear most. Can’t find yours? Our engineers reply within one working day.
Talk to an engineer about your part, material or deadline.
How much does 3D printing cost?
Most small 3D printed parts cost between £10 and £80, and a typical prototype is quoted at £25 to £250. Price depends on material, part volume, print technology, finish and quantity. Upload your file to the instant calculator for a live price, or send a sketch for a written quote within 24 hours.
How long does 3D printing take?
Standard orders ship in 2–4 working days, and express 24–48 hour turnaround is available for most parts. Large SLS batches, CNC machining and parts that need painting or vapour smoothing can take 5–10 working days. We confirm a delivery date on every quote.
What file formats do you accept?
We accept STL, OBJ, STEP, IGES, 3MF and native SolidWorks or Fusion 360 files. STEP is best for engineering parts because it keeps true geometry. No file? Send photos, sketches or the physical part and we will model it for you.
Do I need a 3D model to get started?
No. You can send a sketch, photos, a drawing or the physical object, and our CAD team will create the 3D model. For broken or obsolete parts we 3D scan the original and rebuild it as editable CAD, so you also own the file for future reprints.
What is the difference between FDM, SLA and SLS printing?
FDM extrudes plastic filament and is the most affordable, SLA cures liquid resin for the finest detail, and SLS sinters nylon powder for strong, support-free parts. Choose FDM for large or low-cost parts, SLA for smooth visual prototypes and small detailed features, and SLS for functional end-use parts and low-volume batches.
Can you 3D print replacement or obsolete parts?
Yes. We 3D scan or measure the original, rebuild it in CAD and print or machine a replacement, even if the part is broken. We regularly remake discontinued parts for classic cars, boats, industrial machines and household appliances, often stronger than the original.
Do you offer bulk or low volume production?
Yes. We produce from 10 to 5,000+ identical parts with no tooling costs, mainly using SLS nylon and FDM. Low volume 3D printing is ideal for bridge production, spare parts and pilot runs. Unit prices drop as quantities rise, and we batch-inspect every order.
Do you deliver across the UK?
Yes. We deliver nationwide across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, with tracked next-day shipping available. Local customers can also collect from our workshop. International shipping is available on request.
